A Suggested Approach for Stochastic Interval-Valued Linear Fractional Programming problem
In this paper, we considered a Stochastic Interval-Valued Linear Fractional Programming problem(SIVLFP). In this problem, the coefficients and scalars in the objective function are fractional-interval, and technological coefficients and the quantities on the right side of the constraints were random variables with the specific distribution. Here we changed a Stochastic Interval-Valued Fractiona...
متن کاملE-model for Transportation Problem of Linear Stochastic Fractional Programming
This paper deals with the so-called transportation problem of linear stochastic fractional programming, and emphasizes the wide applicability of LSFP. The transportation problem, received this name because many of its applications involve in determining how to optimally transport goods. However, some of its applications (e.g., production scheduling) actually have nothing to do with transportati...
متن کاملOn a dual method for a specially structured linear programming problem with application to stochastic programming
The paper revises and improves on a Dual Type Method DTM devel oped by A Pr ekopa in two ways The rst improvement allows us in each iteration to perform the largest step toward the optimum The second inprovement consists of exploting the structure of the working basis which has to be inverted in each iteration of the DTM and updating its inverse in product form as it is usual in case of the sta...
متن کاملInverse Stochastic Linear Programming
Inverse optimization perturbs objective function to make an initial feasible solution optimal with respect to perturbed objective function while minimizing cost of perturbation. We extend inverse optimization to two-stage stochastic linear programs. Since the resulting model grows with number of scenarios, we present two decomposition approaches for solving these problems.
متن کاملPossibilistic linear programming: a brief review of fuzzy mathematical programming and a comparison with stochastic programming in portfolio selection problem
In this paper, we review some fuzzy linear programming methods and techniques from a practical point of view. In the rst part, the general history and the approach of fuzzy mathematical programming are introduced. Using a numerical example, some models of fuzzy linear programming are described. In the second part of the paper, fuzzy mathematical programming approaches are compared to stochastic...
